With the economy the way that it is at present, it would be of no surprise to me if one day very soon, we'd have to avail of Personal Loans. Though hubby is one of the luckier ones at his job to still have work, his hours were slashed a few months back. Thankfully enough, we're still surviving -- happy and healthy, no less. Hopefully, the economy gets better and his hours go back to normal sooner rather than later. In the meantime, should we find ourselves in a major crunch, it helps to know that we can be approved for a personal loan in approximately three minutes by applying online and submitting an application.

The Birthday Girl.

Sunday, April 26, 2009

Her birthday was last month so this is definitely a long overdue post. She turned 4 *sob* -- no longer my baby! Because her birthday fell on a Thursday, we celebrated at her school the day before (she attends school on Wednesdays and Fridays). I'll post about her real birthday party soon.

This was taken a day before her 4th birthday at her school. She shared hello kitty cupcakes with all her classmates:

Of course, can't forget the cupcakes for the mommy, daddy and teachers:

Travel to the Riviera Maya.

It’s almost May and the last time we took a trip was back in December. I am starting to itch for a getaway – and soon! E suggested I check out the different Karisma Hotels located on the white-sand beaches of the Riviera Maya. We’ve never been to Mexico before but from what I’ve read about these hotels, it is nothing short of luxury! Karisma Hotels are known for their Gourmet-Inclusive concept especially designed for foodies. You can choose a mexico vacation at any of their five signature resorts-- El Dorado Royale Spa Resort (adults only), El Dorado Seaside Suites (adults only), Azul Beach (family-friendly) and Azul Blue (family-friendly) and Hidden Beach Resort (naturalist)—by contacting Pamela Johnston at pamela@pjinc.net or Amanda Deveaux at amanda@pjinc.net or call 212-629-8445.

One fine Winter day.

Taken after lunch on a January weekend. Weather was absolutely perfect for a winter day -- not too hot, not too cold.

Notice the coat? Looooooooovvvee it, if you don't mind me saying so myself. The coat was a steal at Old Navy ($4.99 -- when I went back to grab a bigger size with the intention of letting her wear it for next year, they were all gone! Probably because it was priced incorrectly OR people bought them before they could change the prices!).

Invest in gold?

There's no denying times are hard. And each passing day that goes by, things don't look like they'll be picking up soon. I'm wondering if we should go ahead and make that move of investing in gold through Monex Deposit Company. They have competitive prices, they have 30 years worth of knowledge and experience in precious metals investment and they have behind them a large and dedicated staff to walk us through the whole process. Afterall, gold is available in both ingot and coin form -- I need to know of the two, which would be a better investment for our needs.

Remember this bag?

Friday, April 24, 2009

I blogged about it here.

Now check out what Anya's cooked up for the summer season:

and this:

If I had to choose, I'd go with the blue bag. But I'll make it clear that I'm not crazy enough to buy another Anya bag. It's bad enough I didn't love my other one for long so no, I'm passing on this one. Though the more I look at it, the more it calls out to me.

En oh!
