Hubs wants to take piano lessons. Many a times, I find him at the piano eagerly trying to find a way to piece a song together by ear. I think that's real talent -- to be able to listen to something and figure out which notes are being used in a song. He's got a genuine interest in playing piano so I'm positive he is going to be so thrilled about this site where you can sign up to claim your piano playing video & online piano lessons. You just need to give your name and a valid email address and in 60 seconds, you're on your way to learning how to play the piano.
The online piano lessons are super convenient as hubs wouldn't have to leave the comfort of home at all. He can use the laptop and set it atop the piano as he's learning and listening and apply what he's learning immediately. I know he will especially love the idea of having access to Free Sheet Music, of which they have a variety available on their website. You should check it out -- learn how to play piano for free!

Kate Spade sample sale.
Tuesday, June 16, 2009

All these sales are popping up at all the wrong times! I love finding notices like this in my inbox (especially when I'm just about to start my day!). Makes me happy just pretending I'm going to purchase something when I stuff my cart with bunches of stuff. I remember this was discussed in Plurk a while back -- do you do this too? Cheap thrills, why not?

Unfinished business.

Now that my little girl is attending preschool, I've got some time on my hands to finally tackle that unfinished college degree. I've thought long and hard about getting my degree online through Capella University. They offer 109 graduate and undergraduate specializations and 15 certificate programs, serving more than 23,400 students from all 50 states and 45 other countries. I wouldn't have to waste gas driving to classes, I could stay in my pajamas all day if I wanted to, I could still go about my day with Erynne and keep up with my duties at home while I work towards a degree. Definitely something to consider -- and soon.

H&M.
Spent my morning at a mall in Milpitas and it's official: I adore toddler clothing from H&M. I think I'd shop there more often for my girl if we had a branch closer to home. Unfortunately, we don't so this morning was such a treat to find out there was an H&M store at the mall. Found bunches of tops and bottoms for $5. Score! I'm sure the quality of their clothes is nothing to scream about but if we're talking cuteness and great prices for even basic things like tees and tanks, winner! Looks like we're heading there again tomorrow (hubs saw they had a Jollibee and got excited hahaha) so yay me. 30 minutes just wasn't enough to browse through all their stuff.
